OPT-18A Avionics Tester

The OPT-18A portable avionics tester can be used for testing aircraft instruments, facilitating daily testing and maintenance of aircraft instruments for flight schools, aviation academies, and aircraft maintenance personnel. It can also be used for teaching and testing in laboratories at research institutes.
The OPT-18A is a portable avionics tester that can be powered via a USB cable connected to a power bank or with four AA batteries. It features a built-in screen for easy operation. The transmission power is 0.25 milliwatts, designed to minimize interference with other electronic signals and to better test receiver sensitivity. The input at the receiving port is 20 dBm. During testing, the distance from the transponder antenna should be between 5 to 15 meters depending on the specific test item. If the transponder is directly connected to the OPT-18A via cable for testing, it is recommended to purchase a 40 dB attenuator.
